Sarah Borges is the upcoming young Madeiran vocalist featured on the album. Sarah is well known on the island and performs a large song-list, from the jazz classics of Thelonius Monk to the latest Ed Sheeran, at many of the better hotels and restaurants there. She comes from a well respected musical family: her uncle is a celebrated jazz pianist, and her father was chosen to represent Portugal in Eurovision. The unique feature of the album is that nearly all the song melodies are from the classical repertoire, but with a modern twist. Each song is filmed against some of the most stunning landscapes of Madeira, a scenario which has year on year won it the World’s Best Island Destination award.
